Early March saw Kitethrills team up with The Connect Program to deliver a two day kitesurfing course to a group of Brisbane teenagers. With the help of Sam Parisi and Andy Yates, Mike introduced 12 young men to kitesurfing and powerkites. The two day course was a great success and both the Connect Program and Kitethrills are looking forward to the next encounter when new enthusiasts meet the Kitethrills team for action in the wind. If you would like Kitethrills to offer a tailored program of kite skills tuition to your school or community group please contact us.
Randell Waddell. Windaroo Valley State High teacher and school liaison with the Connect Program, is very pleased to endorse the experiences Kitethrills provided.
"We are continually looking to challenge our kids in a safe as possible, thought edgy / provocative environment. the kitesurfing experience that the kitethrills team provided, did this superbly. The equipment, locations, and attention to detail and safety all contributed to an excellent learning experience. Mike is one of life's gentleman, and, all of his staff were excellent role models for our kids.
I thank Mike and his staff emphatically for doing such a great job with our boys, and am very happy to highly recommend the potential that this series of activities present for other school groups in their outdoor / adventure based curriculumā.
Thanks Randell. We really enjoyed teaching your group. We are looking forward to our next encounter.
