Mauritius Dreaming with Globe Kites

New Store Opening

Kitethrills has opened a new store at Currimundi Lake. The new store will give our customers even better service, provide a meeting place for our lessons, and display room for equipment. The store is located in sight of Caloundra's premier training ground for beginners and is perfectly situated to ensure a smooth transition from a curious enquiry to riding and cruising in the wind. Opening celebrations will start from 4:30PM on Firday 18th July - All welcome.

Snowkite Adventure 08

Come snow kiting with us from 15th September. Kitethrills is putting out an open invitation to come on our Snowkite Adventure 08. We are staying in a lodge in Thredbo and kiting on Australia's Main Range. Book early becuase the lodge has limited beds. If you havent learnt to ski or snowboard yet, we advise you spend the first few days in the resort getting to know your edges before venturing into the backcountry with the main group. This is not a guided tour but you will be sharing time and getting tips from some of Australia's most experienced snowkiters. Go to Snowkite 08 for full deatails and the booking form.

Schools Program Kicks Off

Early March saw Kitethrills team up with The Connect Program to deliver a two day kitesurfing course to a group of Brisbane teenagers. With the help of Sam Parisi and Andy Yates, Mike introduced 12 young men to kitesurfing and powerkites. The two day course was a great success and both the Connect Program and Kitethrills are looking forward to the next encounter when new enthusiasts meet the Kitethrills team for action in the wind.
