Why Learn at Kitethrills?
We specialise in creating kitesurfers. As kitesurfers ourselves we love this sport and we care about our students. As an IKO Kiteboarding Centre  our mission is to have you kitesurfing as safely and as quickly as possible. Our teaching methods are designed so that you learn all aspects of the sport, starting with kitesurfing theory (wind, weather, safety etc), choosing a location, and equipment selection. We modify every lesson to suit each student's learning ability.

Kitethrills teaches on only the latest equipment with Headzone radio helmets, advanced technology kites and only in the most appropriate conditions. (see below)  Learn to kitesurf in a safe, fun environment. All instructors are experienced and trained to IKO standards. (International Kiteboarding Organisation). Kitethrills is fully insured and licensed by local authorities to operate on Caloundra beaches..

Weather
Kitesurfing is a wind sport and therefore requires adequate wind to participate. To commence a beginner's lesson we require at least 10 knots of constant wind. For intermediate lessons, (getting on the board), we require a little more.
If you have booked a lesson, or received a gift voucher, contact your instructor on the day of your lesson to confirm suitable weather conditions. Be prepared to be a little flexible as we want you to have the most fun.

3 Hour VIP Lesson: $240 Course covers: kitesurfing theory class, safety & equipment set-up, kite flying basics on the beach, more kite flying in the water, body-dragging in the water & basic equipment care & maintenance.  (Maximum 2 students per instructor)

3 Hour Private Lesson: $330 One on one lessons includes: same as VIP lesson plus personal coaching, equipment advice, free test centre access and free IKO Kiteboarders Workbook book. (value $15)

6 Hour VIP Intermediate Course:   $480 Spend the day with kitethrills or enjoy 2 x 3 hour sessions. By the end of this course you should be up and going. Some may even begin to jump! Includes all equipment and IKO Kiteboarders work book (value $15).
